Juris Doctor (JD), Part-Time Flex

After 25 years working in HR for biotech companies, I went back to law school and did a complete career transition. I had enough experience to do HR consulting part time while in law school and graduate without student loan debt. I loved my HR career but doing civil legal aid (helped people avoid involuntary discharge from long term care, for example) is rewarding in a completely different way. Plus there’s a whole community of lawyers who spend all their time thinking about how to undo or prevent harm, and being surrounded by them is an honor.That’s me in the center!
